The Guadalupe Shring Committee wants you to know that the landscaping fundraiser met the goal of raising enough money to pay for the trees, bushes and hydro-seeding. Thank you all who contributed! In part, because of you generosity, a parishioner has stepped forward with the gracious offer to match dollar for dollar all monies donated starting today through the end of November, up to $50,000.
f we can meet this goal, the funds will be used to complete the Shrine and establish a maintenance fund for the Shrine. Please consider this opportunity with your donations today and in the future. Remember that the Blessing Ceremony is on December 9th. All are invited. Again, your generosity is truly appreciated! Our Lady of Guadalupe Shrine will bring people together in Christ through Mary.
The Church's mission of evangelization is a predominant mission of Our Lady of Guadalupe. Bring her mission to life here in the Grand Valley with us. Contribute to this project and be a part of a movement to make disciples of all peoples. Donations to the shrine are separate from contributions to your parish. This prayerful garden will be a sanctuary for all to share their prayers with Mary, find peace and grow their faith discovering a new passion in Christ.
Dedication of the Shrine with Bishop Berg is scheduled for December 9, 2023. More information will be announced as it becomes available.
The Shrine Committee is currently working to finish Phase I. Curbing installation and hydro-seeding is currently underway. The statues have been shipped and will be installed once they have all been received. The altar, designed and crafted by a local artist is in the final stages of construction. The Memorial to the Unborn will be completed by prior to the dedication.
Phase II, which will take place in the Spring of 2024, will include the addition of three pergolas, benches and a spring planting.
With your prayerful and financial support, we continue the work to complete Phase I.
