SPIRITUAL

Travel to El Espino,
El Salvador

State College
Classes start Monday, July 19th !
This course will include travel experience to Grand Junction’s
Sister City of El Espino, El Salvador.
Learn firsthand about the work of the Jesuit martyrs and Archbishop
Romero.
Class dates are July
19th-22nd & 26th-29th from 6-9:00 pm at the main campus.
Participants learn living and sharing with members of a rural
Salvadoran.
Traveling dates are Aug. 4th-13th
Follow-up classes are Aug. 17th & 18th from 6-9:00 pm.
Class will be taught by
Drs. Tom Acker & Tim Casey.
All expenses—airfare, tuition, housing, and
in-country travel approximately $2000.

Adult Confirmation
Sunday, August 29th
4-6pm faith session with 6pm Mass to follow
These sessions are for
adults who never had the opportunity to be confirmed in the Catholic
faith,
who wish to complete their initiation in the Catholic faith or
who are interested in serving as godparents.
We invite you to join us for a short mini-course on Adult Confirmation.
This formation is for adults who are practicing Catholics and who have
received catechesis previously.
The remaining dates are: September 12th—October 3rd.

religious studies, and
a Masters in Theological Studies from the Catholic Theological Union of
Chicago.
He established The Vatican II Project which contributes to the effort
being made within the Church
to keep alive the spirit and energy of Vatican II.

Coffee and Donuts
after the 7:30 or 10:00 Sunday morning Masses.
Every third Sunday of the month,
the Knights of Columbus serve a Pancake Breakfast.
The cost is $5 per adult, $3 for children 6-12 years old, and children
under 6 free.
All proceeds benefit the Knights of Columbus charities.

Hosts for 10:00 am mass are through about an hour after mass is over.
